If you are a business owner or work in a business where you work with customers, customers want some customer loyalty. What does that include? Here are a few examples of what this means. This can be pretty helpful to ensure that your customers keep coming back. So, here are things that we customers value.
The first thing is to be respectful when you are talking to us. Give us your whole attention. Show that you are interested in what we have to say and just don't dismiss us. Too often these days, people are rude on the phone as well as in person. Put distractions aside. Greet people with a smile. Ask what you can do for them. It's as simple as that.
Another thing is to watch your tone. Different tones mean different things. For instance, you might find that you might sound bored. You might sound snappy even if it's not the customer's fault. We as the customers hear this and find it rude. Try not to take things out on us that might not have anything to do with us.
Something else that will ensure that your customers will keep coming back is that you take into consideration what they are feeling. There are times when they might have thought the price was something else. They might have thought that coupon wasn't expired. Sometimes, in order to keep clients you have to meet them half way.
Another thing that you might want to do is make sure that you go out of your way to help. Stay over time if you have to. Make a call to another location to see if you can help them. The last thing that you can do is to make sure that you acknowledge and adhere to those deadlines that you set. If something should be delivered by a certain time, then make sure that you do that by that time. This is something else that customers really look at. How often do you keep your word? How quick are you? They are paying attention to this.
When you do these things, you will find that customers will have a lot more respect for you. When they have more respect for you, they will give you customer loyalty why not have a reward program as well. It's as simple as that. It's time to go old school. When you do this, you can offer them so much more than any of your competition. Think about how much that could increase your sales.
